A local treasure of a store. Browsing the Mercantile was always the highlight of a visit to the Crossroads restaurant for my mother. She could have spent hours here. I bought my parents a large wind chime from here what must be fifteen years ago now and it is still cherished. Glad to see its still open after the restaurant's closure.
Lots of lovely, unique gift items to look at. Some quite pricey! Disappointed that there was no washroom available and a sign posted that public washrooms were not available.
Always great service here with a unique and on-trend selection of home decor. Not to mention the prices are fair and the merchandising is up there with the best
Stumbled upon this store as I was out for a drive on Sunday. What a great find. My senses were on overload with all of the interesting home decor and gifts (both indoor and outdoor.) The 2 staff members were very helpful, pleasant and cared about the customer's experience. Things that you often don't find from the big box stores in the GTA.
